Globally Harmonised System (GHS) Awareness

A short, practical course that teaches you how to classify, label, and safely manage hazardous chemicals in line with GHS and WHS requirements.

Globally Harmonised System (GHS) Training was developed by the United Nations to provide a consistent, formal structure for managing chemicals in workplaces around the world.

Hazardous chemicals are present in many workplaces today. Do you know enough about the hazardous chemicals that your workplace manufactures, buys, stores, receives, or uses?

Our GHS Training course is designed for manufacturers, importers, and end users of substances, mixtures, and articles who have a duty under the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act and Regulations to classify them. It is also valuable for suppliers, managers, supervisors, and support personnel who come into contact with, or are responsible for, hazardous chemicals in their workplace.

The two major elements of GHS are the classification of hazardous chemicals and the communication of hazards and safety precautions through Safety Data Sheets and labels.
