TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations (For Bus Drivers)

Our TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations Traineeships for Bus Drivers are available to passenger bus service operators who employ drivers to drive and operate buses and Coaches across Western Australia. This traineeship is designed to inform, educate and provide safety-first approaches to all bus/coach operators transporting passengers anywhere in Western Australia.

Within our TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations Traineeships for Bus Drivers each candidate will be trained by our team of professionals to safely operate and conduct bus/coach transporting services as per Australian Standards.

Throughout this traineeship, each candidate will be required to complete 15 units – spread evenly across the course duration. Each unit has been designed to ensure the utmost safety of the driver, passengers and general public relating transporting activities. An all-inclusive traineeship that results in a Nationwide Training Certified Bus/Coach Driver.

Government funding may be available to employers for their chosen candidates based on their current work history with their current company. Requirements include: where an employee has been working for less than three months on a full time basis or less than twelve months on a part time basis, the employee may attract such incentives and funding. On completion, each candidate will receive a TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations issued by Nationwide Training.

Driving Operations - Traineeship Eligibility

Employees who have been working for your company for less than three (3) months full time may attract employer incentives and funding

Employees who have been working for your company for less than twelve (12) months part time may attract employer incentives and funding

Employer Incentives

Employers may also be eligible for incentives from both the federal and state government up to $8,250.00

Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Programme

  • $1,500.00 – six (6) months from commencement
  • $2,500.00 – on completion

Jobs & Skills WA Employer Incentive

  • $2,125.00 – Commencement payment at the six (6) month milestone
  • $2,125.00 – Completion payment if the completion occurs on or after the eighteen (18) month milestone full time or twenty seventh (27) month milestone part time. Earlier completions are paid on a pro rata basis

Duration

24 months for full time employees
36 months for part time employees

Delivery

Workplace-based training is delivered face to face and includes pre-reading, practical training and observation of you performing routine work tasks while on-the-job.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available.

New Workers Certificate III in Driving Operations (Bus) course fees:
25 years old or over $672.30* GST Free;
17 – 24 years old $672.30* GST Free;
*Annual course fee caps apply of $1,200 or 25 year olds and over and $400 for 17 – 24 year olds

Note: Fees and charges are based on the Department of Training and Workforce Development Fees and Charges Policy in line with Nationwide Training’s recommended training plan. Any changes to the training plan may see an alteration to these fees. Fees are GST free. Fees are only for units started in the current year. Fees for units started in future years are yet to be determined by the government.

Certificate III in Driving Operations $$5,000.00 GST free four payments of $1,250

Entitles the learner to a maximum of 12 scheduled training sessions.
A scheduled training session can be either an in-person meeting or a video conference meeting or the attendance of a skills course.
Refer to Nationwide Training’s schedule of fees for additional scheduled training sessions.
