Load Restraint

This 1 day in depth load restraint training course covers the requirements of securing loads to utes, trucks, trailers, freight containers or any vehicle that transports goods by road in Western Australia.

The load restraint course is suitable for all vehicle drivers, freight handlers and company managers/supervisors in charge of transport operations.

Course Duration and Fees

North of River 

7:30am to 4:00pm (approx.) at Nationwide Training, Osborne Park

1 day $325 GST free

 

South of River

7:30am to 4:00pm (approx.) at the Perth Motorplex, Kwinana Beach

1 day $325 GST free

Note: to receive your certificate on the course day you must provide a USI that can be validated two (2) working days before the course.

Course Requirements

Learners:

  • Must complete thorough pre-reading of the Nationwide Training Load Restraint Manual before attending
  • Must wear fully enclosed shoes
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
  • Must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) www.usi.gov.au

  • Securing load with correct load restraints
  • Documentation completed in accordance with workplace requirements

This course is delivered face to face, including classroom-based training and practical training in a simulated warehouse. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available.

On Successful Completion

On successful completion of this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Nationwide Training:
